Welcome to Polly's Perspective, a blog that has been long overdue but is finally here. Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Polly A. Elias, a Kenyan-born, Jersey raised, 28-year-old young adult calling the Greater Los Angeles, California area my home.
I'm a proud member of Revelation Church LA, and I hold my spiritual parents (Dr. Lovy L. Elias and Prophetess Maggy Elias) and family dear to my heart.
My journey to Los Angeles in 2017 was not merely a geographical move; it was a leap of faith, a belief that God had predestined this path for me. While the road hasn't always been smooth, it has undeniably been an intriguing one. I've encountered moments when I lost my sense of direction and questioned why I was here, but through it all, I've come to realize that each day, God has been molding me and preparing me for what lies ahead.
I am a warm-hearted, creative, and spontaneous soul who often discovers herself navigating the twists and turns of life, solving problems for others, and entrusting every step to Jesus. Around two years ago, by the grace of God, I established a ministry called Church After Church LA. This month marks the beginning of 'Taste & See Sundays,' our weekly gathering featuring a live talk show and mixer.
As I embark on this blogging adventure, I invite you to join me on this remarkable journey.
